Beautiful building and very well maintained with tasteful decor. Staff very helpful. But who would have thought to have a full blown American Style Piano Bar in Switzerland let alone Zermatt! Great entertainment provided by the artists. We came in for 1 drink and stayed an hour and half.

Beautiful hotel - I especially liked the dining room and the breakfast pianist! Excellent breakfast with many vegan options! The staff was all extremely attentive and helpful. The concierge helped me figure out which cable cars, etc to take as I was having sciatica so couldn’t walk a lot. And I was taken to the station in the horse drawn carriage! I loved the view to the back (even though it wasn’t the Matterhorn). The bathroom was also wonderful.

The hotel is just wonderful. Location right in the center. The staff is very kind, polite, patient. They are very attentive, always ask how are you, if everything is okay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Cleaning twice a day, in the evening they even make the bed for sleeping. The food is very tasty. Compliment to the kitchen. The spa is clean and cozy, the pool is also good

The room was beautiful, well designed and planned. Loved the fact that there was a balcony (ideal if you want to relax and chill) but we couldn't get a view of the Matterhorn from there. The breakfast was good as well, but thee need to be more people there for service. e.g. we had dinner the same night we checked in and it took us a while to catch someone's eye - since there were literally 2 people there! Location wise, it is fine, cause we chose the hotel because it wasn't a long walk from the station.

the location is perfect, the building is gorgeous inside and out, the swimming pool is a very good size for zermatt, my room was quiet, I particularly liked the attention and service of the staff in the ski room

Breakfast was excellent/ Great variety of all kinds of foods. Breakfast Room was beautiful Our room was super comfortable. Great spacious bathroom and 2 big closets. One was a walk-in closet. Location was perfect, right next to the main pedestrian street Facilities were wonderful The Star Bar with Giovanni at the piano was great way to end the day The restaurants were great Prato Borni - 1* Michelin was the best!! Say Cheese with fondue and raclette was delicious and fun Lusi was super nice and

Central location. Nice and comfortable room. Beautiful breakfast room with great buffet breakfast. Large swimming pool with sauna and steam room to use after a long day on the slopes . Friendly and professional staff provide excellent service. Overall, a wonderful experience. Kudos to current management and staff.

The hotel is exceptional. The staff are not only smartly dressed, polite, knowledgeable and totally professional but also demonstrate a genuine desire to look after their guests. The room was superb with wooden panelling, excellent lighting, a comfy bed, two chairs and a round table. The bathroom had twin sinks and was spotlessly clean. There was a walk-in wardrobe. The room overlooked the square and the view of the Matterhorn was wonderful. The room was serviced twice a day and members of staff servicing the room could not have been more helpful. I was there for a birthday treat and was very moved when we returned on my birthday to find a cake in our room complete with chocolate icing on the plate wishing me a happy birthday and a drawing of the Matterhorn. We did not have breakfast but did have a meal in the Brasserie, a stunning restaurant serving excellent food. Another really appreciated bonus was the free lift back to the station at the end of our visit in the hotel's beautiful carriage pulled by an equally beautiful and friendly horse.

breakfast, room and location are a great plus. Their staff are very friendly and eager to help. I have never seen all senior staff of a hotel so dedicated to the success of the hotel by going above & beyond for customers. As for Sauna, they open from morning till 20:30 hours while competitor only starts from afternoon till 20:00 hours. The design of everything close to the pool makes it easier for customers to access compared to competitor. They have a nice car design to pick up customers. Although I did not get a horse ride from them, the horse carriage in blue is nicely designed with extra trailer for baggage. The front entrance of the hotel is grand and great marketing plus for people in Zermatt. They also have a nice outdoor patio for afternoon drinks.
